Kevin P. Prosnick, Ph.D., is licensed as both a clinical counselor and clinical psychologist. He received both his Bachelors (1983) in Psychology and his Masters (1985) in Community Counseling from Youngstown State University. He received his Doctorate in Counseling and Psychology from Kent State University in 1996.


Dr. Prosnick is currently in private practice as an attending psychologist at various skilled, intermediate and long-term care centers in Northeastern Ohio. He has been practicing counseling and psychology for over 30 years and has extensive experience in treating issues related to depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, pain, trauma and cognitive disorders.


He has been an adjunct professor at both Kent State and John Carroll Universities in Ohio. He has published over 30 articles in counseling, psychology and psychiatry journals in Australia, Italy, Norway and the USA.
